This is a flower from the new hanging basket I bought to hang over the new flower boxes Jeff made me (I helped too). I am so excited to plant a bunch of flowers. Then I will always have something to take a picture of for my photo of the day. I hope you all like flowers.

We headed back from Chelan today. We went home over highway 20. It was just barely snowing. We stopped and had lunch in Winthrop. It was a nice trip, but I was glad to be home when I got there. This is a view from the highway as we made our way back over the Cascade mountains.

We were still in Chelan today. These are the super friendly ducks outside our hotel rooms. They liked wasabi almonds (which I fed them BEFORE I read the 'Do Not Feed Ducks' sign). We called them Mr. and Mrs. Duck (creative, I know).

I went to Lake Chelan today for a work conference with my friend and co-worker Rachel. We went to the same conference last year. It was a nice change of pace from the usual work day. The weather was interesting, we had sun, rain, thunder and lighnting. This is a tree outside our lakeview hotel rooms. I thought the bark was interesting.
