I spent the day out in the county at my grandparents as I have done for many Labor Day weekends of the past. It was a nice day. The weather actually was decent, which is always a treat on a holiday weekend around here. Had a wonderful dinner in wonderful company.
Today's picture is of my cousin's son Cole. I had quite a fun time chasing him around with the camera.

Pistol Pete is still here. He looks kind of sad though. I think he misses his daddy (owner). He sure is a cute dog though. I have been taking way too many photos of him. I just can't resist though.

Me. Today is my 29th birthday. So, for some reason, I thought I would do a self portrait. It has been awhile since I have done one. However, I didn't feel like setting up the tripod and going through all that. So, I put on my wide angle lens and held it above my head. That is I look a bit distorted. Oh well, it was fun, and it is my birthday, so I can do what I want.

It rained today. It really rained. It has been awhile since it has really rained. Kind of a nice change of weather. As long as the sun comes back tomorrow!
