Today was Jeff's birthday. We had a nice day. We did some wine tasting out in Carmel Valley. Then we had a nice dinner at a wonderful little restaurant. It was such a nice day. This is a picture of some plant on the deck that I took at some point during the day.

It was a pretty sunset today. This is taken from our private deck at the place we are staying. Very nice to sit there and watch the beautiful sunset.

We are going to stay in Carmel, CA for 3 nights. That will put us here on the night of Jeff's birthday. We got a nice place to stay. It has a private deck and a nice bathroom with a big tub and even a 17 inch flat screen. This is my little mushroom guy, who you might remember from an earlier picture. He made the trip with us. He is standing on the edge of the tub.

Today we drove south to California. This was somewhere we stopped along the way. It was a beautiful day.

Another day at the beach. The waves have been pretty big this trip. We went for another walk on the beach today. The weather wasn’t super, as you can tell from my picture, but I wanted to try and capture a shot of the waves. This was all I could come up with. Still, it was awesome. I love watching big waves crashing on the rocks.
