I realized that I had not taken any fall color pictures this year. So, today, we drove over to Winthrop. The colors in Newhalem were very pretty. It was snowing on the pass.

And one more.

I only took 3 pictures today, of this dandelion, when we stopped to use the restroom while we were on a drive.

Some of the few (only?) flowers still doing well in our yard.

I think this is my cat trying to tell me just how boring it is for me to take pictures of her. She can't even sit there without yawning.

So, the mushroom guy wanted to check out what this candy corn stuff was all about. He tried some and he likes it.

This is one of the little blossoms on the hydrangea. I picked it off and put it on one of the leaves of the plant so I could compose a picture and have a nice green background.

Ever since I saw candy corn out for Halloween I have been wanting to take a picture of some. So, I finally broke down and bought some. So now, present you with candy corn.

Another one of the little dude. He is not bathing himself, but I am pretty sure he is planning to attack my camera at any moment.

I call this photo ‘Hygiene is Key.’ Lately, whenever I try to take pictures of my cats, they (both of them) decide that it is time to clean themselves. So, I decided to quit fighting it and embrace it.

I did manage to get some shots of him where he was not cleaning himself, as well. I just liked this one best.

Here are a couple of the others. And one of Nutty.

Today was an amazing day. My parents kitty, who has been missing for around 5 days, came back home. My parents have been walking around the area calling him all week. I helped them last night and this morning. Then, about 11am, he just showed up at the sliding glass door. It was so good to see him. I am so happy he is home, and not hurt. We think he probably got locked in someone’s shed Monday evening, and the just haven’t opened it until today (probably to do Saturday chores). He doesn’t seem like he has been out in the weather (and it has been rainy) and he doesn’t seem too spooked, but he was very hungry. I am just so happy he is back.

And a couple more of Pooh and Pedra (who, apparently, forgot who he was while he was gone, as she is hissing at him like she has never seen him before).

I went down to my parents tonight. Their cat, Pancho (known better as Pooh), has been missing since Monday evening. I came home to help them look. I sure hope Pooh comes back. This is a picture of one of the flowers in a bouquet at my parents house.

Today I went out to Hovander Park in Ferndale with Rachel and her kids to take some fall pictures. It was really fun, and I have never been to Hovander Park before. It was beautiful there. THe weather was nice. My photo of the day is a group picture I took.

And, of course, there are many, many, many more pictures from the day. Her youngest kids really enjoyed posing for the camera.

Here are some layouts I put together.
