2011 photo of the day : day 239
A picture of blackberries cooking away on the stove. I picked 12 cups of berries and I am making some Krem,. Basically cooking down the berries, straining them, adding some sugar and starch. Serve with some cream. It is also good over ice cream.

It is the hydrangea again, but look, this time there is a frog on it. The frogs love hanging out on the hydrangeas.

We hung a colored rope light up on our deck. I waited until it got dark, then I used a really slow shutter speed and just wiggled my camera around.

Our awesome neighbor brought us a bag of apples from his tree. So I thought I would take a picture of one. This one still had a leaf on it. When I downloaded the pictures to my computer the focus was off on all the pictures (not enough depth of field). So I thought I would process it all funky to cover that up.

Today I went for a drive up Mount Baker with my friend Rachel. She was dropping her daughter off for a dance retreat and I went along for the ride. It was nice. The snow was melting (remember, I am playing catch up, so this was in August) and there was pretty blue water.

Another day hanging with the family at my grandparents house. For my photo of the day I chose a picture of Mackenzi and Jada playing out by the trees because they just look like they are having so much fun.
Of course, I took a lot more pictures.

She even makes funny faces.
