5 months. That is how long I have been doing this photo of the day project. I can't believe it has been that long. I am glad I started this project. I already enjoy looking over the collection of photos I have from doing this project for the last 5 months. Today, just a simple picture of pansies.

Today, my photo of the day, is a picture of my mom and uncle planting a pumpkin. The growing season has definately began for the 9th (I think) annual pumpkin contest. I am hoping to grow a pumpkin more than 20 pounds this year. The family record is 219 pounds. It was set last year by a pumpkin my mom started and was grown at uncle Rob's place. So, there are high hopes for the pumpkin you see being planted in this picture. We had a nice day of pumpkin planting, air hockey, and a delicious dinner.

Here are some more pictures from the day.

The 'cowboys' (they came over to move the cows to a different field) and Jackie ready to do some weed eating.

Lukas doesn't like his picture taken.

My grandparents enjoying some of the non-rainy weather and Jackie being silly.

Moving the 'big red charlie' tree to be planted.

Nobody knows what this is.

Ed planting the new 'big red charlie' tree.

More pumpkin plant pictures.

Kevin's pumpkin being planted at Rob's house.

Air hockey was a hit!

What brownie?

Puppies! Who doesn't love puppy pictures? This is from my aunt's dog litter. They are four weeks old. They are so cute. I love their smudgy faces. And they funny to watch walk around. Not very coordinated. There are 4 girls in the litter. They are named after the seasons, Summer, Spring, Autumn and Winnie (Winter). I am honestly not sure which one is which.

And more puppies:

I also took some pictures of the rain drops on the columbine at my grandparents house. It was memorial day weekend in western Washington, so of course, it was raining.
