Home again. Let me tell you, sleeping in my own bed felt wonderful. And, I was so excited because I got to take pictures of my flowers again today. My flowers grew like mad while we were gone. Must of got lots of sunshine. This is a picture of the flowers on our potato plants. I think they are so pretty.

Today was a long day. We got up, packed up camp, left Maupin (the town we camped near) at about 11am. Had to return rafts, drop people off, pick up the dog and head home. We didn’t get home until at least 10pm. So, I didn’t really take many pictures. This is something I took while playing with the point and shoot camera in the car. Not great, but it is all I got.

Today we rented a raft and had a full day of rafting. We were able to do two runs. It was so much fun. I can’t wait to do it again. Again, not feeling to photographically motivated (I could barely move by the end of the day, all beat up from rafting), so again, the hillside by our camp.

This was our first day rafting. We had a few mishaps with the rafts (patches coming off, new holes, etc..) so we only got one run in this day. I was not feeling very photographically motivated today. This is a picture of the hillside by our camp. I liked the trees and shadows.



I did take a couple other pictures.

We left this morning to go on a white water rafting trip on the Deschutes River in Oregon. We drove all day and when we got there we set up camp. It was dark by the time I realized I had not taken a picture. Here is a picture of the cups we were using to drink vodka lemonades. I know, not a work of art, but it works. It is actually very representative of the evening. We stayed up quite late and drank quite a bit. It was fun.
